The city of San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca has a population of 120,000 inhabitants and very typical of the Argentine northeast it is located in the valley of pre-Cordillera.

Located 50 km .of the estate on a tarmac which makes his visit very easy and comfortable. Catamarca has museums craft shops of local Indian work, interesting and luxurious leather and harness shops. The nightlife is fun with casinos bars nightclubs, and good restaurants.

Very near the city was the famous "Cuesta de Portezuelo." Immortalised by Jorge Cafrune in his famous song.
